Watkins Lake 2018
This project on Watkins Lake was on the far East side and subject to significant ice push.
This is the first project we tried using a new product called SOX. As you will see in the pictures it
reminds you of filling a burrito, but with a soil combination of top soil and sand. The SOX is staked
down and folded back to create a new shoreline. Next steps were to plant a variety of native grasses
and forbs directly into the SOX and upland to create a diverse habitat area.
